Bobb and his late brother David formed Main Street Securities, LLC in 1999, as a producer friendly Broker Dealer. They built the firm to 70 representatives managing $1 billion for clients. At the pinnacle of the firm’s success, in 2004 Dave was diagnosed with cancer and died 14 months later. The challenges of running a broker dealer without his expertise became too complicated. After this personal loss and the impending recession of late 2008, Bobb decided to make life simpler and folded his broker dealership in 2010. After a thorough search, he was able to move his group to a compatible broker-dealer, Independent Financial Group LLC of San Diego, CA.
This new association will provide an array of innovative and leading edge solutions for the financial challenges that clients and representatives face. Our clients benefit from an expanded product list and our representatives benefit from a dedicated staff in Hays, KS and San Diego to promptly process their business. As OSJ of the Main Street branch office, Bobb uses his expertise in estate, financial planning and money management to assist his personal clients as well as other top advisors in his branch and around the country.
